KYN 28-12 Series Armored Removable AC Metal-enclosed Switchgear is suitable for complete sets of power distribution devices of three-phase AC 50Hz, 3.6~12kV single-busbar segmented system, which can receive and distribute power, control, protect and monitor the circuit. It is widely used in power, metallurgy, petrochemical, urban construction and other industries.

This switchgear meets IEC298, GB3906, DL/T404 and other standards. It can be equipped with circuit breakers such as VD4, 3AH, EV12, VB2, VS1(ZN63A), VDS(ZN63C) and ZN18(VK), etc.

1. This switchgear is mainly composed of two parts: cabinet body and removable unit (handcart). The protection levels of its shell and compartments are IP4X and IP2X respectively. It has overhead incoming and outgoing lines, cable incoming and outgoing lines and other functional schemes. The installation, debugging and maintenance of switchgear can be carried out on the front.

This switchgear is made of aluminum-coated zinc plate and processed by CNC machine tool, which has beautiful appearance, high precision, high strength, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.



Compartments
The switchgear is divided into handcart room, main busbar room, cable room and relay room according to the main functional elements in the cabinet.


2. Handcart room
Guide rails are installed on both sides of the bottom of the handcart to lock the chassis of the handcart and allow the handcart to move between the test position and the working position. The front end of the contact box mounting plate in the compartment is provided with a movable curtain plate, which automatically opens when the handcart moves from the test position to the working position, otherwise it automatically closes to ensure effective protection and isolation. The upper and lower curtain plates move independently and can be locked separately, and the valve on the other side can be locked during maintenance, thus ensuring the safety of maintenance personnel.

3. Main busbar room
A three-phase rectangular copper busbar is installed in main busbar room. The main busbar room of each switch cabinet are communicated through wall bushing. In case of internal fault arc, the accident can be effectively confined to the current compartment without spreading to other cabinets.

4. Cable room
The cable room has a large space with the cable installation height of more than 700mm, which can hold multiple cables. According to the needs of main circuit scheme, current transformers, grounding switches and lightning arresters can be installed in the cable room. The bottom plate of switchgear is provided with main cable access hole and detachable sealing plate, which is convenient for construction and maintenance.

5. Relay room
The relay room is used to install secondary components such as relay protection and control.

The switchgear should be installed in a dry and clean power distribution room with good air circulation. It is required that the basic frame and floor of switchgear in the distribution room have been completed and accepted during installation, and the door and window decoration and indoor lighting and ventilation works in the power distribution room should be basically completed.

The installation dimensions of the switchgear are shown below.

1. When the switchgear is in a single-row layout, the corridor in front of the cabinet should be more than 2.5 meters. In the case of double-row layout, the operation corridor between cabinets should be more than 3 meters.

2. During the transportation of switchgear, special transportation tools such as cranes or forklifts should be used. It is forbidden to use roller crowbars and push the circuit breaker handcart into the cabinet for handling. The handcart should be pushed into the corresponding compartment only after the cabinet is installed.
